Loose-Fill Playground Mulch Installation
Spread Tech typically installs loose-fill playground mulch using our powerful blower trucks. Whether we are installing Hardwood Engineered Wood Fiber (EWF), Cypress EWF or Colored Rubber Playground Mulch, our process is much more efficient than any other method.
Our trucks are the size of a tractor trailer and can carry up to 100 cubic yards of material. Instead of dumping the mulch on the ground and using shovels and wheel barrows to spread the mulch, we install the playground mulch using a long hose that reaches up to 300 feet from the truck. This allows us to install exactly the amount of playground mulch you need exactly where you need it on the playground. We can easily install more mulch under fall zones where it is needed most and less mulch out in the open areas. There is no mess to clean up and no need to take down fences or drive over the landscaping to get to the playground. By blowing the mulch in at a rate of up to one cubic yard a minute, we can completely surface an average playground in just a couple of hours.
